Dwight "Bo" King, 70, of Shock WV passed away May 8, 2020 at home with his family.
He was born June 24, 1949 at Nicut WV, a son of the late Harper G. and Ocie Gae Sampson King.
Bo is survived by wife, Robin King; six sons, Dwight "Roe" and Chris of Shock, Dewayne and Lisa of Glenville, Daniel of Shock, David of Glenville, Randy and Jennifer of Spencer, and Michael of Shock; daughter, Erica King and Jeremy Poling of Arnoldsburg; nine grandchildren; sister, Lydia Dye of East Liverpool OH; brothers, Larry and JoAnn of Front Royal VA, Delbert King, George King and Lester King all of Shock and ex-wife, Angie Estep of Frozen.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Emagene Cottrill of Shock, Sharon King of East Liverpool, and first ex-wife, Sharlene Kings of Mt. Run, and brother Delbert King.
Bo was a devoted family man and was loved and respected by many in his community. Most of his life he made his living in the woods from logging to trucking and everything in between. He was a proud member of our armed forces in Vietnam. Above all, he considered himself the last true cowboy.
A private family graveside service was held Sunday, May 17, 2020 conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc. of Arnoldsburg WV. Bo wanted to rest on the hill in front of his house at the foot of his rocks.
