This past week, Arnoldsburg Elementary third grader were given engagement activities that were an extension of the story Flat Stanley, by Jeff Brown, except it wasnât themselves being flat it was their teacher, Mrs. Jarvis, who said, "I mailed a flat version of myself to the students, who took photos for submission, I have had lots of fun with my kiddos this past week."
After the story, students summarized each chapter and answered a few follow up questions, like where would you go if you were flat, and how would your life change?
