Enid F. Smith, 99, of Eustis, Florida, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at the residence of her
daughter.
She was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Floyd and Sarah
Cooper Fulks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Orma,
WV.
Surviving are six sons, Calvin L. Smith of Clearwater, FL, John W. Smith of Newark, Ohio,
Emmons B. Smith of Arnoldsburg, WV, Richard L. Smith of Springfield, MO, Edwin L. Smith of
Springfield, MO and Jackie D. Smith of Elyria, Ohio; three daughters, Ruby Smith Thompson
of Starksville, MS, Patricia Smith Debow of Springfield, MO and Dormal Smith Meeks of
Eustis, FL; also surviving are 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon Smith, brother, Forrest Fulks and
sister, Icy Fulks both of Arnoldsburg, WV.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV on Sunday, March 8
2003 at 2 p.m. Rev. Carl Marks will officiate. Interment will be in Cooper Cemetery, Chloe, WV.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from noon until the time of service.
