Edith Marie McCumbers, 69, of Nicut, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on Monday,
March 3rd, 2003 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Greenbrier County, the daughter of the late Charles Luther and Lethia Ellen
Gould. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Samuel J. McCumbers and his fiancé, Beth Carr of Spencer, WV,
Brenda M. and Rockey Dickey of Rosedale, WV, Peggy A. Craddock and her companion,
Mike Hunt of Rosedale, Trevia J. and Glen Fulks of Millstone, WV; sister, Merida McCumbers
and brother, Jay Randolph Gould both of Indiana; eleven grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ruffus Judson McCumbers and two
sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg, WV. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the time of service.
