Sonjia Leigh Foster, 72, of Indialantic, Fla., passed away April 24, 2020, at her home.
She was born May 1, 1947, at Montgomery, the only child of Ralph and Zella Parsons Smith.
Sonjia attended WVU and graduated with her nursing degree. She enjoyed a career as a surgical nurse in West Virginia and later moved to Florida to become self-employed.
Survivors include two sons, Jim (Stacy) Chancey and Todd Chancey; one granddaughter, Brooke (Travis) Greer; and one great grandson, Nicholas Greer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her third husband, Julian Foster.
She will be laid to rest near her parents at the Smith Cemetery, Uler, at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3.
