As of 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reports, there have been 18,306 laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 739 positive, 17,567 negative and 13 deaths.
The 13th COVID-19 associated death is a 56-year-old woman from Berkeley County.
Itâs not uncommon for the local level to report case numbers first and then officially report it to the state. Delays may be experienced with the reporting of cases and deaths from the local health department to the state health department.
