Russell Elmer Yeager, 78, of Grafton OH, passed away on April 10, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born April 15, 1941 in Gilmer County WV to parents Hayward Yeager and Elvy Mae Yeager.
Russell relocated to Ohio in the early '60s, where he worked for Fruehauf Trailer, Larson Foundry, and MTD before retiring from Independent Steel in 2003, after 14 years of service.
In his spare time, he enjoyed caring for his lawn, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Russell met Audrey Yeager in 1990, and were married on April 16, 2001 in Grafton OH, where they lived for 25 years.
Russell is survived by wife, Audrey Yeager; son, Joshua Yeager; his three step-children James (Teresa) Jones, Karen (Randy) Workman, Carol (Bruce) Blosser; and brother, Donnie (Laura) Yeager.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Imogene Hartley, Betty Ward, and Madalyn Yeager and brothers, Bernard Yeager and Ronnie Yeager.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020, conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV. Interment will follow in the Yeager-Westfall Cemetery.
