Calhoun Schools issued 1,081 meal packets Friday for Calhoun school children, providing 10,810 meals for five days of breakfast and lunch.
Local police directed traffic between the school and Route 16 at Calhoun Middle-High School.
Superintendent Kelli Whytsell said, "I would like to thank all the administrators, teachers and service employees that helped today. I would also like to thank the local 911 Center, Sheriff's Dept. and State Police for providing traffic control."
Whytsell said Calhoun Schools will do another five day distribution next Friday from 11:00-2:00 at CMHS, using the same procedure.
