Calhoun Schools will be passing out food Friday, April 3rd. There will be 5 days worth of breakfasts and lunches. You must come to Calhoun County Middle/High School between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick up your child's portion.
Any child age 18 and under will be given food, and no the child doesn't have to be present to pick-up the items.
Books from Save the Children will also be available to keep students engaged in reading. Save the Children was also generous enough to donate soap and hand sanitizers. All together they have donated 6,500 books, 50 cases of diapers, 72 packages of baby wipes, 192 small bottles of hand sanitizer, and 240 bags of Kleenex Wipes.
The Early Steps Program (Michele Hipp, Suzanne Allen) and Vroom Program (Debra R Dawson-Smith, Robin Sawyer Hudson) will be contacting their families about delivering diapers and wipes to the specific groups this week.
