| Raymond A. Cox, 87, of Gandeeville, died Monday, March 30, 2020, at Miletree Center, Spencer, after an extended illness.
He was born January 17, 1933, at Vicars, the son of the late Howard R. and Goldie G. Rhodes Cox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel V. Harper Cox in 1994; three brothers, Roy, Mayford and Harold.
Raymond was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Roane County.
Survivors include his son, Randy A. Cox of Gandeeville; brothers, Robert, Ernest, Edward and Richard; sisters, Alice, Lorraine and Rita.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at Ferrell Cemetery, Harmony, with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. The visitation will be immediately prior to the service.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
