| Flora Maxine Bucher, 96 of Glenville WV; departed this life in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Genesis Health Care, Glenville Center, following an extended illness.
She was born August 7, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant MI; daughter of the late Harry G. and Flora Bellenger Taylor.
Maxine was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She enjoyed gardening, working with crafts, and cooking. She was a Methodist by faith, an amazing cook, and a former bowling instructor in Weston.
On March 15, 1941 Maxine was united in marriage to Fay W. Bucher who preceded her in death in April of 2001.
Surviving is her loving daughter, Margaret Collins and husband Eugene of Glenville; 2 grandchildren, Wes Collins and wife Amy of Parkersburg WV; and Tammey Webb and husband Richard of Big Springs WV; and 4 great grandchildren, Lindsey, Laura, and Akeara Webb, and Evan Collins.
Along with her parents and husband, Maxine is preceded in death by her sister, Frances Taylor Sheets.
Do to the current restrictions on public gathering because of the Covid-19 pandemic the family will have a private graveside service at the Lewis County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Weston WV, on Friday, April 3, 2020 with Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating.
