25 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 THURSDAY - 76 Cases In WV

West Virginia health officials confirmed 25 new cases of the coronavirus Thursday.

There are now 76 cases in the state, up from 51 on Wednesday, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. More than 1,700 tests have come back negative and 43 are pending.

New cases were reported in Berkeley, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Kanawha, Marion, Marshall, Mason, Monongalia, Raleigh, Upshur and Wood counties.

Medical providers are required to report test results to their local health departments, which provide them to DHHR.
