Secretary of Stateâs Office has now sent voters absentee ballot applications to every registered voter in the Mountain State.
3/15/2020 - West Virginia has not decided to postpone the Primary Election.
"Planning ahead for the May 12, 2020 Primary Election we are encouraging individuals who do not want to vote in person to request an absentee ballot application," according to Calhoun Clerk Jean Simers.
To request an absentee ballot application you can do one of the following:
Call the County Clerk at 304-354-6725.
Email the County Clerk at calhounclerk@gmail.com
Print an application from the West Virginia Secretary of Stateâs website at https://sos.wv.gov/FormSearch/Elections/Voter/Absentee%20Ballot%20Application.pdf
Or you can go to one of the pick up sites:
a. Calhoun Banks drive thru at Arnoldsburg
b. Calhoun Banks drive thru at Grantsville
c. Drop box in front of the Community Resources building
at 258 Court Street; Grantsville, WV 26147
Applications may be mailed back to: Calhoun County Clerk,
PO Box 230,
Grantsville, WV 26147.
