The latest recommendations from the Federal Government and CDC include:
1. Avoid social gatherings of ten or more people
2. Older people should stay home and away from other people
3. People with a serious underlying health conditions should stay home and away from other people.
Therefore, and in accordance with guidance from our Bureau of Senior Services, Our Senior Centers will be closed to the public as of Wednesday, March 18th
NUTRITION AND IN-HOME SERVICES WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROVIDED
If you have received meals from our Centers in the past and wish to drive-by and pick-up meals during the late morning between 11:00 am and 11:30 am Monday through Friday, please call the Center at 304-354-7017 to be placed on the list.
If you wish to be considered for placement on our home-delivery (Meals on Wheels) list, please call the Center at 304-354-7017; we will be expanding those services as much as reasonably possible during this time of closure.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time of emergency. We will reopen the Center and resume all congregate meal services as usual as soon as reasonably permitted and possible. Our wish to everyone is, as always: "Stay safe, stay healthy!"
