Vroom-Save the Children have been offering weekly play groups at Pleasant Hill School. These groups take place every Friday at 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., second Tuesday of every month at the Calhoun Library 11 a.m. and third Saturday of every month at 10 a.m.
 During these weekly play groups, we will be exploring Language, Literacy and Math Kindergarten Readiness skill areas: Knowing about the alphabet, books and print; talking and listening; understanding words and sounds; numbers, counting, patterns, sorting and classification; comparison, measurement and geometry. These are all critical skills that your child needs to be prepared for Preschool and Kindergarten. I look forward to meeting you and helping prepare your child for school success!
 This group is open to every parent and child (0-5) are encourage to take advantaged of this free group. You do not have to be enrolled in school or in any of the other Save the Children programs to attend. An if you canât bring your child(ren) please remember you can have their caregiver bring them.
This is a good way to introduce your child(ren) to the pre-k/kindergarten environment especially if they are going to be enrolled in the upcoming school year.
