The Young Writers Competition is an annual contest during which 5th through 12th graders all across the state compose short stories. The stories are submitted to classroom teachers who choose the strongest narratives to be considered for the school-wide grade level winners.
Four winners are chosen, one each from grades 5-12. The four winners are then sent to the county level, and the winners for the county level are submitted to the state competition. |
