When Calhoun boys (and girls) started the massive migration to Ohio after World War II, those giant companies would hire them on the spot, sent to head of line. All they needed to hear was Calhoun WV = work gene.
Glen M. Davisson, who has just died in Orville OH wore his CCHS red football jacket for some time after lighting in Ohio, there after being known as "Calhoun."
