| Shirley Rae Hickman Selmon, 77, of Parkersburg passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Parkersburg Care Center.
She was born May 17, 1942 in Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Shirley R. “Shi” and Edith J. McEndree Hickman. Shirley enjoyed sewing, archery and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two children, N. Gregory Selmon (Donna) of Arnoldsburg, WV and Sheila Jones of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Shelina Yoak (Matt), Nathan Selmon, Russell Selmon, Rachel Jones and Sarah Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Austin and Mikayla King.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Norman G. Selmon and two sisters, Margaret Bell and Elizabeth “Ebbie” Lewis.
Private family memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements. |
