Sherry Evans Fowler, 72, of Parkersburg, died December 10, 2019 at Cedar Grove Personal Care. She was the daughter of the late Paul S. and Margie Williams Evans. She worked for Public Debt and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mike Fowler; two children, Candace R. McClung of Parkersburg, David M. (Rene) Fowler of Washington, WV; four grandchildren, Corey and Cassidy McClung both of Parkersburg, Landon and Carlin Fowler both of Washington; one sister, Sharman Matthews of Arnoldsburg; and one brother, Timothy P. Evans of Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wood and Osa Fowler, who she was very close to.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Grove Personal Care and Amedisys Hospice for the special care given to Sherry.
Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor John Vannoy officiating.
Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville, WV.
Visitation will be held Thursday 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
