| Michele Dawn 'Shelley' Pettit, 42, of Spencer, died Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
She was born October 14, 1977, at Ripley, the daughter of Ronald and Jeanie Milhoan Pettit of Spencer.
Shelley was an in home care giver. She was a 1995 graduate of Roane County High School, Spencer.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Ashleigh Pettit of Spencer; nephews and nieces (who were the apple of her eye), Ian Bird, Bayleigh Pettit, Chase Pettit and Oakleigh Pettit; paternal uncles, Charles Pettit of Spencer, Roger Pettit of Little Hocking, Ohio and Jerry Pettit also of Spencer; maternal aunts and uncles, Della Longfellow of Leroy, Delia Sampson of Reedy, Margaret Nichols of Leroy, Jenny Jo Anderson of Long Ridge and Earline Milhoan also of Leroy, Jim Milhoan of Leroy, Bill Milhoan of Duncan and Roger Milhoan also of Leroy.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William Clyde and Freda Hope Helper Pettit; paternal uncle, Jim Pettit; maternal grandparents, Harry L. and Lorraine E. Burgess Milhoan; maternal uncle, Romie Milhoan.
The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 8 at Faith Baptist Church, Spencer, with Pastor Justin Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral.
