| PREGNANT WOMAN SHOT - Huntington Police have released the name of the woman who was shot Thanksgiving morning.
Huntington Police Chief, Hank Dial, says Kayla Harris was shot around 4 a.m. at an apartment at 1034 7th Street.
Chief Dial says Harris's boyfriend, Arlandis Maurice Nolan, was inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. He tells WSAZ.com Nolan currently has outstanding warrants for drugs. Officers also found heroin and fentanyl inside the apartment.
Chief Dial confirmed that Harris is pregnant. She was taken to the hospital. Officials say Harris and her baby are in stable condition.
A man at the scene was taken into custody, but police say this wasn't related to the shooting.
Charges are pending in this case. |
