The National Weather Service in Charleston said the wind advisory also will be in effect for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday in these West Virginia counties: Wayne, Mason, Jackson, Wood, Pleasants, Tyler, Lincoln, Roane, Wirt, Calhoun, Ritchie, Doddridge, Mingo, Logan, Boone, Clay, Braxton, Gilmer, Lewis, Harrison, Taylor, McDowell, Wyoming, Upshur, Barbour, northwest and southeast Raleigh, northwest and southeast Fayette, northwest and southeast Nicholas, northwest and southeast Webster, southeast Pocahontas and northwest Randolph.
Roane County was reporting 1,000 without power AM Wednesday. |
