Jimmy Corder Mace, 64, of Harrisville, W.Va., passed away November 8, 2019 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Hospital, Clarksburg, W.Va.
He was born March 3, 1955 in Calhoun County, W.Va., a son of the late Corder and Edith Husk Mace.
Jimmy had held various jobs in the oil and gas industry and worked with A.D. Steed Oil and Gas Co. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and teaching his grandchildren gun safety and hunting skills. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter Autumn Bunner of Harrisville; his fiance, Rose Maxine Fredrick of Harrisville; one brother, James Ralph Mace (Peggy) of Weston, W.Va.; three sisters, Martha Busch of Belpre, OH, Judy Sheppard (Gary) of Vienna, W.Va. and Mary Jo Sams of Parkersburg, W.Va. and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Corder Wayne Mace and a sister, Barbara Jordan.
A Celebration of Jimmy's Life will be held on Saturday, November 23 from 9-11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God, Harrisville, W.Va. Pastor Ron Blevins will assist and interment will be in the Walker Cemetery.
