The first real snow of the season is expected Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 10 p.m. Monday to noon Tuesday. Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected. Some areas may receive up to 3 inches.
In West Virginia, Kanawha, Putnam, Cabell, Mason, Wayne, Roane, Jackson, Wood, Lincoln, Pleasants, Tyler, Wirt, Calhoun, Ritchie, Mingo, Logan and Boone counties are under the advisory.
