| At least three individuals were arrested following a traffic stop in south Grantsville Tuesday night.
A criminal complaint says that Deputy Sheriff Charles J. Myers had some difficulty getting a vehicle stopped, using blue lights and siren, the vehicle stopping at 519 Highland, a previous residence of Christopher Sampson, who had been on home confinement.
Other officers arrived on scene to assist with the traffic stop.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Benjamin C. Lilly, 35, of Spencer, with two other occupants Christopher M. Sampson, 33, of Grantsville and Preston J. McCumbers of Nicut, underwent a search of the vehicle.
In Sampson's search, according to the complaint, a weighing scale fell from his person, also finding about $250 in cash, in addition to multiple grams of marijuana discovered in the vehicle search.
Sampson, McCumbers and Lilly were charged with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Sampson and McCumbers were incarcerated.
In a separate case, Chief Deputy J. Chang stopped a vehicle on Leafbank Rd. Tuesday with expired registration, the vehicle belonging to Daniel Mark Johnson, 33, of Big Bend.
The criminal complaint said there was an expired MVI which belonged to another vehicle.
The officer discovered Johnson was revoked DUI, with Sheriff Jeff Starcher and Cpl. J. B. Hunt arrived
The complaint said the officers discovered two smoking devices and crystal meth, in addition to marijuana.
He was charged with driving DUI-2nd offense, possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of marijuana-2nd offense, fraudlent MVI, improper registration, and driving with no insurance.
He was taken to Central Regional Jail.
Keith Allen Lamp, 34, was arrested by Calhoun authorities following a report of a domestic problem on Northside Rd., Grantsville. He was taken to Central Regional Jail on a fugitive from justice warrant.
