A Beef Quiz Bowl for 4-H and FFA members will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Mountaineer Cattlemenâs College at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV. Preliminary rounds will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and the finals will begin at 8:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required by November 22, 2019.
There are two age divisions for teams:
⢠Junior for teams whose members are 13 years of age (as of January 1, 2019) and younger
⢠Senior for teams whose members are 14 years of age (before January 1, 2019) and must not have graduated from high school.
Mixed teams (juniors, seniors, multi-county) must compete in the Senior division unless the team is a mixed county team whose members are under 12 years of age (as of January 1, 2019).
Monetary awards are presented to top placing teams in each division. Each member of the winning senior team will receive a scholarship.

A practice schedule will be developed for two to three days a week based on youth participantsâ and coachesâ schedules.
