Founded in 1954, the West Virginia Black Walnut Festival began as a gathering centered around bringing your walnuts to Spencer to have them weighed and sold to the nut company. Sixty-five years later, the BWF is going strong with a carnival, crafts, live music, a car show, exhibits, a grand parade, good food and great times.
