A 54-year-old Grantsville man has been arrested for the "manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance," alleged to be marijuana," a felony charge.
Garland Ray Nichols' case will be presented to a Calhoun Grand Jury on May 6.
A confidential informant enlisted by Trooper Fred Hammack of the West Virginia State Police made drug purchases from Nichols, according to magistrate court records.
Trooper Hammack had the informant enter the Nichols residence in Grantsville and later his vehicle, reportedly recording the transaction on an audio tape.
The informant submitted the evidence to the trooper and signed a statement. |
