102-YEAR-OLD LULA STARCHER HUGHES RETURNS TO CREMO HOMECOMING (08/27/2019) 102-year-old Lula Hughes Lula Starcher Hughes, 102, returned to celebrate the homecoming at the Cremo Community Church, recalling the names of dozens of parishioners who graced the country church in over a century. While her sight and hearing has diminished, she was able to recogzize folks visiting her. Lula will hopefully celebrate her 103 birthday in December. Her life and times have been recorded on the Hur Herald during the past quarter of a century.
