Everett J. Runnion, 75, of Spencer, died July 7, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born December 24, 1943 at Wallback, the son of the late Everett and Sadie Rogers Runnion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, David Allen Runnion; brothers, Jake, Phillip, Alfred, Andy, Paul and Robert Runnion; sisters, Dolly Cottrell, Justine Williamson and Naomi Metheny.
On the 23rd day of February, 1967, he was united in marriage to Hazel Ellen Falls at Spencer.
Everett was a retired employee of Norris Industries, Spencer. He enjoyed spending time with family and fixing old clocks.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Hazel E. Runnion; daughter, Linda M. (Donald J.) Keyser of LeRoy; sons, Donald (Kathryn) Runnion and Steven (Clara) Runnion both of Spencer; grandson, Steven Ray Runnion; granddaughters, Rosie and Maria; sisters, Daisy Keen of Clay County, Mary Ann Cohen, Mattie Troyer and Eliza Smith all of Ohio.
HE WILL ALWAYS BE A HERO IN HIS KIDS EYES.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral.
