CHARLESTON MURDER - Charleston police have identified a suspect in a deadly shooting on the city's West Side.
Braheem Jamal Griffin, 25, of Charleston is wanted for first-degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Trequan Gibson, according to Charleston police.
Gibson was a well-known sports figure.
Griffin is accused of shooting and killing Gibson late Thursday night on Second Avenue.
Griffin is considered to be armed and dangerous.
CHARLESTON SHOOTING - A man is in stable condition after a shooting on Main St. in Charleston on Sunday, according to the Charleston Police Department.
Officers said Adam Matthew Denson, 31, of Charleston, was shot in his legs on the 500 block of Main Street just before 2:30 p.m.
They said he was transported to a local hospital where he is currently in stable condition.
This is an ongoing investigation and no arrests have been made.
