US Census Takers (enumerators) in Calhoun, Clay, and Roane counties will be paid $13.50/hour and $0.58 per mile for conducting the 2020 census, according to Laura Wellstead. 2020 Recruiting Assistant.
Although these jobs are temporary and part-time, this is an opportunity for residents to help their communities while earning a decent hourly wage. Because work hours are flexible, census workers can fulfill other commitments while working for the census.
