| Roger C. Brown, 66, of Spencer, died June 18, 2019, at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.
He was born August 12, 1952, at Leatherbark, the son of the late Basil and Lola McCumbers Brown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Art Lee Brown.
Roger was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn S. Fauber Brown, whom he married September 10, 1977; daughters, Tabitha Brown of Clendenin, Jamie Back of Eldon, Missouri and Sandra Brown of Spencer; son, Rodney (Sarah) Brown of Reedy; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter; brother, Basil Brown, Jr. of Cremo; sisters, Linda McCumbers of Arnoldsburg, Carol Webster and Mary Witt both of Spencer, Polly Helmick of Nicut and Susie Waggoner.
His request for cremation has been honored. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted with arrangements for the cremation.
