| Aaron Jeremy Cottrell, 42, of Elizabeth, passed away at his residence June 8, 2019.
He was born Jan. 14, 1977, the son of Jerry and Janice (Richard) Cottrell. A graduate of Wirt County High School, he was a construction worker for several years, enjoyed fishing, working outside and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his parents; his wife Brandi Cumbridge Cottrell; his children Justin, Nalile, and Kaden Cottrell; siblings Jeff of Parkersburg, William (Devonna) of Elizabeth and Stephanie (Mike) Hughes of Elizabeth; his grandmother Arthelia Richard and several nieces, nephews, an aunt, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Woodrow and Ocie Cottrell and Linza Richard.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth, WV. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 13 at 1 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home with the Rev. James Ritchie officiating. Burial will be at Mt. William Cemetery of Palestine, WV.
