| Lifetime Spencer resident, Larry S. Grimm, 78, passed away Thursday June 6, 2019.
He was the son of the late Forrest Ray and Dawn Starcher Grimm and the grandson of the late Edwin W. and Goldie Short Grimm of Spencer.
Larry was the owner of his own accounting firm, Larry Grimm & Associates, Inc. He was the former owner of the Spencer Foodland. This afforded him the opportunity as management to travel to various countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Australia, Puerto Rico and Mexico. He also toured the Hawaii Islands with his father for his father's retirement celebration.
He proudly served in the US Air Force and did not hesitate to acknowledge other service members that served our country.
He is survived by a sister, Linda (Jerry) Hathaway of Williamstown, West Virginia; and his ex-wife, Phyllis Rymer of Marietta, Ohio.
Private graveside services were held Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer with Rev. Danny Whited officiating.
