Kayla Ware, Calhoun Middle-High School, senior (above center) signed a letter of intent to compete on the Glenville State College track team on Thursday, May 23. Calhoun School's are proud of her a achievements as a Red Devil and are looking forward to seeing where her career goes as a Pioneer.
"We are very excited to be getting a local student-athlete who has achieved some major success on the high school level. It is very important to us to be getting a Calhoun County athlete with the ability and work ethic that Kayla brings to the table," said
GSC Coach Skiles regarding the signing of Kayla.
Skiles says, Our institution has a long history of CCHS athletes, and we feel that the signing of Kayla Ware will re-kindle that relationship and open the door to more Red Devils coming our way in the near future. She is going to be a tremendous asset to our track programs throwing corps."
