| Donald Ray Bunner, 76, of Elizabeth WV, passed away May 2, 2019 at Eagle Pointe of Parkersburg WV after an extended illness.
He was born in Wood County the son of the late Robert and Madeline (Bock) Bunner.
He retired from the Wirt County Department of Highways after 30 years of service. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Wilma (Pursley) Bunner;
1 son Robert Bunner of Elizabeth; 3 sisters Dorothy Bunner of Elizabeth, Betty Vertity of OH, and Rosalee (Stephen) Weiford of NC; and 1 brother David Bunner of Elizabeth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother James Bunner.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday May 6, 2019 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with Pastor David Morris officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Hill Grove Cemetery II.
