Four men have been charged in connection to a copper theft in March from an Appalachian Electric Power yard in Amma.
Gregory Dustin Miller, 31, of Elkview is charged with two counts of breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy. The complaint also said that Jeff Bryant Fields, 47, of Charleston, Brian Edward Hall, 36, of Elkview, and Elvin Dean Hodge Jr., 44, of Charleston are each being charged with receiving and transferring stolen property and conspiracy.
The rolls of copper, valued at almost $13,000, were stolen from the AEP yard on March 4.
Miller, Fields, Hall and Hodge are currently being held in South Central Regional Jail.
Miller is being held on a $20,000 or 10 percent cash bond. Fields is being held on a $5,000 cash only bond. No bond was set for Hall. Hodge is being held on a $5,000 cash only bond.
