Calhoun Middle-High School students Mason Siwicki and Levi Morris recently won State Championship at the West Virginia Social Studies Fair.
Their World History Project, "The USS Liberty" took first place. The young men have done extensive and noteworthy research including interviewing survivors of the ship.
Levi and Mason took first place at the school, county, regional and state levelâa notable achievement. They are also part of a group of students who did a performance on the USS Liberty at West Virginia University and won a National History Day state championship and will be heading to the University of Maryland in June to compete at the National level. |
