| Roger Lee Isenhart age 75 of Meadowbrook WV, departed this earthly life on Friday, April 19, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.
He was born September 19, 1943 in Cedarville WV, son of the late Ernest Lyle Isenhart and Gladys Whisman Isenhart Greenleaf.
Roger is a veteran of the United States Army having served from 1965 to 1967 with the 14th Artillery unit. He is also a retired heavy haul truck driver with nearly 50 years of experience, retiring in 2013 from MEC Construction.
On December 27, 1968 Roger was united in marriage to Della Lemon Isenhart, who survives at their Harrison County home.
Surviving are 6 children, Roger Isenhart and wife Dianna of Lumberport WV, Norman Isenhart and wife Tonya of Cedarville WV, Roy Isenhart and wife Darlene of Cedarville, Charles Isenhart and fiancée Amanda Stewart of Glenville WV, Ernie Isenhart and fiancée Amber Lowe of Meadowbrook, and Cassie Odell of Clay WV; and 2 sisters, Jean Brown of Greenville SC, and Marty Bunn of Glenville.
Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Along with his parents, Roger is preceded in death by 7 siblings, Jackie, Thomas, and Ernest “Tink” Isenhart, Becky, Sharon, and Janet Isenhart, and Carol Herrington.
Rogerâs request for cremation has been honored and a Celebration of Life will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 with Elder Larry Fisher officiating. Private family burial will follow at the convenience of the family in the Cedarville Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5:00 â 6:00 p.m. Friday evening at the mortuary in Glenville.
