Lorraine Scott, of Spencer, West Virginia, born on February 2, 1929, passed away on April 18, 2019 which was one month before the anniversary of her husband's death.
She was a retired librarian from the Roane County Library and attended the First Baptist Church in Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Scott; her parents, Charles and Catherine Wohleking; and one brother, Charles Wohleking.
She is survived by five children, Ronald (Brenda) Scott of Spencer; Donald (Donna) Scott of Spencer; Katherine (Mark) Feder of Spencer; Bonnie Scott of Ripley, West Virginia; and Mary (Tracy) Hendershot of Elizabeth, West Virginia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with the Rev. Mark Wood officiating. Friends may call on from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, April 22, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Roane County Library, 110 Parking Plaza, Spencer, WV 25276.
