Karen Lenora Flesher, 70, of Spencer, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, the 13th day of April, 2019, at home after an extended illness.
She was born on the 12th day of July, 1948, in Chloe, Calhoun County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Denver Clark and Nelle Siers Jarvis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Bonita K. Jarvis, sister; Dolan G. Jarvis, brother; Gladys B. Jarvis, sister and Dolores Jarvis-Bias, sister.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 50 years, Roger Harold Flesher of Spencer; daughter Chrissy Flesher, of Spencer; sister Garnet (Larry) Hersman of Ripley, West Virginia; three nieces, five nephews, five great-nieces, six great-nephews, and eight great-great nieces. Also, left to cherish her memories are her pretty Calie Girl (cat) and the Grand Pup, Myles.
There will be no funeral or graveside services due to her wishes. Per her request, the body will be cremated with burial of the ashes at the Clark-Jarvis Cemetery in Chloe at a later date.
A Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, the 20th day of April 2019 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Spencer Tabernacle Church, 148 Summit Street in Spencer. After said gathering, there will be a social dinner in the Fellowship hall. Per her request, the dress code will be casual for she would want everyone to be comfortable.
