West Virginia counties under the tornado watch in addition to Kanawha, Boone, Mason, Roane, Wood, Cabell, Lincoln, Mingo, Wayne, Jackson, Logan, Putnam and Wirt.
Meanwhile, a wind advisory also is in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday for many counties in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. Winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are possible.
West Virginia counties under the wind advisory include Kanawha, Putnam, Cabell, Lincoln, Mingo, Logan, Boone, Clay, Wyoming, northwest Raleigh, southeast Raleigh, northwest Fayette, southeast Fayette, northwest Nicholas, southeast Nicholas and southeast Webster. |
