FORMER CALHOUN STUDENT MAKES EDUCATION STRIDES AT WVU

Former Calhoun High School graduate, Jocelynn Heiney is a double major Freshman at WVU in Psychology and Chinese.

She was accepted into Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society. Phi Sigma Theta is a national honor society dedicated to recognizing and rewarding academic achievements in undergraduates at institutions of higher learning. All nominees must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

She is also a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. NSCS is the nations preeminent certified honor society for high-achieving first and second year collegiate students.

Less than 10% of freshmen and sophomores at WVU qualify for membership. Students must have higher than a 3.4 GPA.

In addition to Jocelynn's education achievements, she still finds time to dance with the Calhoun Cabaret.
