Numerous reports regarding problems with administrators or workers at the Grantsville office of the West Virginia Department of Human Resources surfaced last week.
While social media issued statements on the situation, the Hur Herald received numerous emails regarding likely suspensions of workers associated with Children's Protective Services.
Sources told the Herald that an administrator, a CPS supervisor and a CPS worker have been suspended pending the outcome of investigations.
The Herald issued a public information request with agency heads in Charleston.
They denied to answer a list of questions that would have clarified the matter.
Jessica N. Holstein,
Assistant Director of Communication, said "Pursuant to your request, DHHR cannot provide information regarding any investigation or personnel matters. We appreciate your inquiry."
Cree Lemasters, a supervisor over the Grantsville office, also declined to discuss the alleged issues.
