WV MAKES ANOTHER LIST - Residents Watch More TV Than Any Other State

West Virginians consume the most television programming out of any state in the nation, according to the latest Verizon Specials report.

With an average viewing time of 4.5 hours, West Virginians nearly doubled Utah's 2.2 hour watchtime. Delaware, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Nevada rounded out the top five state's that watch the most TV.

Utah, Maine, Vermont, Alaska and Colorado ranked as the states whose residents spent the least time in front of the TV.

In the same report, Google Trends showed West Virginians watched most of the programming mid-day, which often includes soap operas.
