Wilma Jean Combs, 80, of Newton (04/03/2019) Wilma Jean Combs, 80, of Newton, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at home. She was born on May 31, 1938 in Roane County a daughter of the late Fred and Ernestine Bennett Starcher Goff. She was a retired Home Health Nurse Aid and loved farming. She is survived by a sister Loretta Alvis of Spencer, West Virginia and one brother Dave Goff of Parkersburg, West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Combs. The body was cremated with burial of the ashes at the Tariff Cemetery at a later date.
