| Mike Westfall, 56, of Parkersburg, WV, died on Jan. 9, 2019 at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Grantsville, WV on May 31, 1962, and was the son of the late Don Miller and Greta Hope Johnson Westfall. He worked as a heavy equipment operator out of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 132. Mike loved working on cars and raced dirt track cars. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, but mostly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Beverly "Jo" Stump, a daughter, Michelle (Curt) Westrick of Belpre, Ohio, his grandchildren, Macie, Trentin, Zarik Westrick all of Belpre. Also surviving are his sisters, Charlene Sue (Terry) Vukich of Canton, Ohio, Judith Tara Powell of Grantsville, WV, Debra Lee Meadows of Parkersburg, WV and Amber Dawn (Tommy) Hamric of Sand Fork, WV. He was pre ceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Roberta Ann Yeager.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Jeff Stevenson officating. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Judes Hospital in his memory.
