| Mary Francis Craddock, formerly of Davisville, West Virginia, died at the age of 88 at her daughter's home in Middletown, RI on January 5, 2019.
She was born on March 20, 1930 in Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Edwin Craddock, her Mother and Father, Haven and Ethel (Stienbeck) Roberts, sister, Julia (Peggy) Atkinson, brother, James Crow, and sister, Susan Johnson. And survived by son, Ronald Craddock (Hannah Omietanski), daughter, Jennifer Craddock Gibbs (Daniel), granddaughter, Jessica Craddock, great grandson Darrik Chapman, brother Patrick Donnally, sister, Anne Mitchell, and brother-in-law Kenneth Atkinson.
Mary was a loving wife and mother and was affectionately known as Mom Craddock, chaperone and friend to many boys and girls in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, DeMolay, and Rainbow Girls, and other youth organizations. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Daughters of the American Revolution, Women's Club, and a Turtle. She enjoyed volunteering at her local hospitals. She was a member of the Kanawha United Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 11,2019 at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th Street, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Rick Haught officiating and burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10. 2019 and one hour prior to the service on Friday. |
