| Joseph Calvin Johnson, 78, of Grantsville, WV passed away on January 3, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Grantsville, WV on April 14, 1940, a son of the late Clark Odell and Ada Dell Hayhurst Johnson.
He belonged to the Linden Masonic Lodge No. 83 and UA Local 73 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 49 years. He was a welder. Fall was his favorite season and he liked to hunt.
He is survived by wife of 54 years, Carol Ann Posey Johnson, of Grantsville, WV; son Joseph and wife, Wendy Johnson; and brother, Mike Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Harold, Forest, and Olin Buford.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV with Rev. Joe Lancaster officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
